Born with a Positive Attitude

Now, don’t get me wrong I am far from exceeding an anxiety free life but, I tend to manage working thru everything simply with the right attitude.

Winston Churchill once said, “Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference.” 

Be positive! It just sounds so cliché but those two words together pack a lot of power.

Waking up in the mornings are the most detrimental and impactful portion of your day. It is the beginning and the impression for your start.

Now before I jump into some tips and little pieces of my own personal motivators. I want to share with you three of my absolute favorite affirmations.

Perhaps someone else will fancy them as well.


Repeat these as you read them

  • I have it within me to solve any challenge that occurs today.
  • I fearlessly believe in me.
  • I am enough. Who I am is enough. What I do is enough and what I have is enough

Those three affirmations can be very impactful if you use them the right way.

When you are affirming yourself you need to be sure you are saying it with conviction and belief. When you look in that mirror and repeat encouraging and empowering words back to yourself, you have got to believe it.

Hoping you are filling; no, I hope you are overflowing yourself with affirmations that help you feel like you can fly.

Because, the power of self-empowerment is over looked to often. We seek others to be our consistent encourager.

When in reality, seeking encouragement and empowerment for absolute from others is not your best longevity answer.

Mostly because, the one person you should know you can always turn too for a personal boost, is you.

We are our own most powerful tool. Its time we start putting ourselves to work.


Brain Food


Be kind to yourself

The reason this is the starter is because most people are really hard on themselves. We are known to be our own worst critic.

It is so important to be sure you celebrate in moments of success. No matter the size of the conquer.

Buy the dessert if you did some extra sales that week!

Go get that Day Spa treatment you have been telling yourself you deserve.

For the love of all things be sure you tell yourself how absolutely wonderfully made you are!

Because gosh darn it God doesn’t make junk!

Steer away from the Blue Light


  Get out and experience the beauty away from your phone

Screen time. They say that for children under two years old, tv should be limited to one hour a day.

Mayo clinic states it right here.

So what is healthy for adults? What are we left to work with if technology is the source to our rapid moving society?

How are we to keep from seeing a screen so much in our day when a screen is what allows us to move forward in multiple ways?

Adults have cell phones with them at all times. So what can we do in order to manage more intentional screen time?

Well you can start with timing yourself. I know, it seems silly but it is more silly to allow yourself to feel more tired than you need to only because you cant keep your eyes off of the screen.

Did you know that the human mind in todays society can only keep a attention span for 8 seconds?

How are we ever to be innovative or creative with our minds if we are constantly consuming and drowning them with everything other than our own thoughts?

Reading


You can read your favorite style of book or perhaps just favorite topic.

You can choose to grab a non-fiction story or you can choose to grab the book all about launching your career.

You see, when reading and positivity come together, personal growth books are what come to mind.

When you want to properly feed that beautiful brain you have, be sure your giving it the proper nutrition.

The type of food that will fuel it for long-term. You don’t want fatty food to clog your mental awareness or creative thoughts.

You see if you choose to grab that book that will feed your brain the knowledge to launch your career it could just be the answer to just that.

How will you know unless you read it?

How can you move forward by reading that non-fiction?

How can you possibly have a positive and forward moving attitude towards your day or future by just reading about fantasy?

Get real and be intentional about your brain and what you feed it. Be intentional about how you become positive for yourself.

In the end my friends you are the solution to your own positivity.

  1. A lot of interesting things to consider in this post. I’ll just say about reading, there’s not much like a good book. And on screen time, I don’t care for the apps that track it, but I know I screen too much and can always use more outdoor time. Thanks for the food for thought!
